DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Two women are facing charges after police say they stole more than $4,000 worth of merchandise from a CVS Pharmacy in Denville Township.
Officers responded at approximately 3:30 p.m. July 20 to the CVS at 276 E. Main St. after receiving a report of two people actively shoplifting merchandise, according to the Denville Police Department.
Police said officers located the suspects and determined through an investigation that Kelsey Stephens, 36, of Hopatcong, and Stephanie Robinson, 56, of East Orange, had allegedly shoplifted merchandise valued at more than $4,000.
During the investigation, officers also allegedly found Robinson in possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Stephens was charged with two counts of third-degree shoplifting. Robinson was charged with third-degree shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia, a disorderly persons offense.
Both women were processed at Denville Police Headquarters and released pending future appearances in Morris County Superior Court.
