Morris County to conduct mosquito treatment in Rockaway on Sunday
ROCKAWAY, N.J. (Morris County) — The Morris County Mosquito Commission will conduct mosquito control treatments in portions of Rockaway on Sunday morning following an increase in the adult mosquito population.
Weather permitting, crews will treat wooded areas using all-terrain vehicles between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. on July 26.
The treatment is scheduled for the following locations:
- White Meadow Road (White Meadow Lake Camp)
- Timberbrook Road (Camp Winnebago)
The commission said it will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox, depending on operational needs.
