New pickleball courts open at Rock Spring Park in Washington Township

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — New pickleball courts are officially open to the public at Rock Spring Park, according to Washington Township Recreation.

Mayor Marino and Department of Public Works Foreman Brian Meola marked the opening by taking to the new courts for a ceremonial first toss.

Township Recreation credited former Mayor Matt Murello for his advocacy to bring the pickleball courts to the community. Officials also thanked the Washington Township Department of Public Works crew for its work constructing the new recreational space.

The courts are open to the public daily on a first-come, first-served basis, according to Washington Township Recreation.
