“This year we’re able to support more organizations with a larger investment, and that reflects how much need and opportunity there is across our communities,” said Roxanne Camejo, senior vice president and community development officer at Provident Bank. “These partners are delivering real results in housing, education and financial empowerment, and we’re proud to stand alongside them.”

According to Provident Bank, the Community Development Partnership Program builds on the financial institution’s longstanding partnerships with nonprofit organizations to promote economic opportunity and strengthen the communities it serves.

Since July 2023, Provident Bank has partnered with more than a dozen local nonprofit organizations through the Community Development Partnership Program, with a shared focus on expanding economic opportunities and supporting sustainable community growth.

The bank said the program continues to invest in organizations that help New Jersey residents purchase homes, develop financial skills and gain access to opportunities that support long-term financial stability.

Provident Bank did not specify how much funding each of the 10 organizations received individually.

The latest $83,000 investment is intended to strengthen partnerships with community organizations working to address housing affordability, financial education and economic challenges while helping build more inclusive communities throughout New Jersey.
