Annual West Morris Central Memorial 5K Turkey Trot to be held on Thanksgiving Day

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The WMC Memorial 5K Turkey Trot, a cherished community event, will take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28, continuing a long-standing tradition that honors the memories of several local individuals while benefiting the community.

All proceeds from the event will support the memorial scholarships in their names, as well as Project Graduation, Community Night Out, and new recreational projects aimed at improving the Township.

The 5K course, which runs through the grounds of West Morris Central High School, starts behind one of the school’s soccer fields and finishes on the track surrounding the football field. Runners will loop the course twice to complete the full 5 kilometers.
