Authorities seek public’s help identifying vehicle in Morris County theft investigation

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle connected to a theft under investigation by the Denville Police Department.

According to Morris County Sheriff’s CrimeStoppers, the incident occurred May 3 when a sliding glass door was stolen from a building under construction on Mildred Gill Lane.

Police said the vehicle was first seen in the area at approximately 11:54 p.m. and was later observed making a right turn onto Franklin Road toward Route 46 at about 3:24 a.m.

Images released by investigators show what appears to be a light-colored pickup truck believed to be connected to the incident.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Morris County CrimeStoppers. Tips can be submitted online or through the “P3 Tips” mobile app, and callers may remain anonymous. Officials said a reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
