Box truck towing a box truck overturns on I-80 in Morris County

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – No injuries were reported after a box truck towing a box truck overturned Tuesday night on Interstate 80 in Morris County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash happened at around 9:15 p.m. on Interstate 80 westbound at milepost 24.4 in Mount Olive Township, Lebron said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a box truck towing a box truck lost directional control causing both vehicles to overturn, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
