Centenary University honors EOP students inducted into Chi Alpha Epsilon honor society

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — Centenary University recognized Educational Opportunity Program students during a recent Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society induction ceremony celebrating academic achievement and student success.

The university announced that 19 students were inducted into the national honor society, while 14 current EOP scholars received distinction pin upgrades recognizing continued academic growth and achievement.

During the ceremony, students received certificates, honor cords and pins honoring their accomplishments. Inductees also participated in learning the Chi Alpha Epsilon anthem as part of the ceremony.

University officials said the event highlighted the perseverance, dedication and academic excellence demonstrated by Centenary’s EOP students.

The Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society inductees were Adonis Aponte, Paige Boggio, Nevaeh Bruck, Daniela Calderon, Justice Chiappetta, Madison Conner Sr., Gabriel Cruz Jr., Layla Cumer-Tomasula, Litzy Diaz, Maya Edwards, Button Graham, Franciso Mata-Ramitez, Alyssa McNamara, Ssaid Mosquera, Kelly Sheridan, Erick Veras Brito, Janae Victor, Carmella Vitel and Erick Young.

Students receiving Ruby Level pin upgrades were Jailyn Figueroa, Daniel Paternina Jr. and Zoe-Yasmine Richardson.

Emerald Level recipients were Albulena Ceku, Emma Ferfecki and Shaina Hall.

Diamond Level recipients were Alissandra Auletta, Gabriela de Oliveira Vasconcelos, Saurelys Escano, Zaria Moore, Alexis Schumacher, Oliver Van Dine, Kevin Velasquez Mejia and Sean Yancey.

“Centenary University extends heartfelt congratulations to all inductees and honorees,” the university said in a statement. “Your dedication and achievements inspire the entire campus community, and we look forward to all you will continue to accomplish.”
