Christine Serrano Glassner responds to latest charges against Sen. Bob Menendez

MENDHAM, NJ (Morris County) – Mendham Mayor Christine Serrano Glassner, the frontrunner for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate in New Jersey, Tuesday released the following statement in response to the latest superseding indictment of Sen. Bob Menendez, which alleges that Menendez accepted bribes in exchange for acting to benefit Qatar.

“The problem is much bigger than Gold Bar Bob Menendez – his brazen corruption is just a symptom of the disease eating away at the Democratic Party, especially here in New Jersey. Democrats either perpetrate the corruption or enable it.”

“In this case, Gold Bar Bob is the perpetrator and people like our First Lady, Tammy Murphy, are the enablers. Last time Menendez was on trial facing federal corruption charges, Tammy Murphy and other Democrat insiders contributed to his legal defense fund and helped to give him political cover. They’re as guilty as he is, and New Jersey deserves much better from its public officials. In 2024, integrity is on the ballot. That’s why I’m running to offer a genuine alternative to the corrupt machine politics that has dominated New Jersey for far too long.”
