Congressman Kean sworn in to serve New Jersey’s 7th District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) Friday was officially sworn in by House Speaker Mike Johnson to represent New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District in the 119th Congress.

The district includes Hunterdon and Warren counties, along with parts of Union, Somerset, Morris, and Sussex counties.

Congressman Kean released the following statement after being sworn in: “It is an honor to be sworn into the House of Representatives to serve New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District. I am committed to fighting for the well-being and prosperity of the people of our state. I look forward to continuing to work alongside the New Jersey delegation, my colleagues on both sides of the aisle, and fellow lawmakers across the country, to improve the lives of my constituents and all Americans.” 

This is Congressman Kean’s second term in Congress.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker.
