County College of Morris, Table of Hope partner again for annual Thanksgiving food giveaway

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — For the sixth consecutive year, County College of Morris (CCM) and Table of Hope are teaming up to host a drive-through food distribution event to help Morris County families in need enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. The event will take place Friday, Nov. 21, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in Parking Lot 1 at CCM, located at 214 Center Grove Road.

The free distribution will provide registered participants with a full Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey, fresh produce, canned goods, dessert and other items. Families must register in advance by Friday, Nov. 14, at tableofhopenj.org/thanksgiving. To ensure safety and efficiency, participants are asked to remain in their vehicles as volunteers load the food directly into their trunks.

Over the years, the partnership between CCM and Table of Hope has become a valued community tradition and a dependable source of support for many during the holiday season. The event brings together college staff, volunteers, and local agencies, including the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the Parsippany-Troy Hills Office of Emergency Management and Alstede Farms.

“Year after year, we are honored to continue our partnership with Table of Hope and work together to make a positive impact on our local community,” said Dr. Anthony Iacono, president of CCM. “The college’s commitment to help serve Morris County underscores our dedication to supporting the community beyond the classroom and fostering a spirit of care and connection among our neighbors.”

Founded in 2011, Table of Hope is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Morris County families through programs that promote economic stability, education and overall well-being.
