County College of Morris to present lively production of Hello, Dolly! Nov. 5–8
RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — The County College of Morris (CCM) will bring the beloved musical comedy Hello, Dolly! to life this November in a spirited four-night run presented by the Marielaine Mammon School of Music, Performing Arts, and Music Technologies.
Performances are scheduled for Wednesday through Saturday, November 5–8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Dragonetti Auditorium on the CCM campus. The production promises laughter, romance, and show-stopping musical numbers as it follows Dolly Gallagher Levi, a turn-of-the-century matchmaker and “woman who arranges things.”
“After 100 shows, this production reminds me it is about dusting yourself off and saying, ‘Well, hello again, world,’” said Director Marielaine Mammon, chairperson of the Marielaine Mammon School of Music, Performing Arts, and Music Technologies. “I have learned that every curtain call is a reminder to rejoin life’s dance with confidence, laughter, courage and just a touch of sparkle.”
The talented student cast includes Elizabeth Grant (Dolly Gallagher Levi) of Wayne; German Tatis-Rosario (Cornelius Hackl) of Union; Carolina Hunchak (Irene Malloy) of Randolph; and Charlie Valdez (Horace Vandergelder) of Rockaway. Other performers hail from communities across New Jersey, including Belvidere, Mount Olive, Roxbury, Morristown, and Washington.
The ensemble features more than 20 students showcasing their acting, dancing, and vocal skills in a production filled with lively choreography, colorful costumes, and dynamic set design.
General admission tickets are $15, while tickets for CCM students, alumni, children under 12, and seniors 62 and over are $10. Tickets can be purchased online at bookstore.ccm.edu/category/tickets-events/theater-shows. Audience members should park in Lot 7 at 214 Center Grove Road, Randolph.
