Daytime lane restrictions possible at New Hope–Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge through Feb. 6
LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Motorists traveling across the New Hope–Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge may encounter periodic, short-duration traffic restrictions through Friday as crews perform lighting-related work on the bridge.
Officials said flagger-controlled, alternating single-lane travel is possible between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. through Feb. 6. The temporary restrictions will allow crews to troubleshoot the bridge’s architectural and roadway-deck lighting systems.
Drivers are urged to be prepared to stop, follow flagger instructions and use caution when crossing the bridge during active work periods.
Officials said the planned traffic restrictions are subject to change due to weather conditions, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
