Express E-ZPass lane on Delaware Water Gap Toll Bridge to close Tuesday for maintenance
WARREN COUNTY, N.J. — The Express E-ZPass lane on the Delaware Water Gap Toll Bridge is scheduled to close for several hours Tuesday for periodic maintenance.
The lane, which serves Interstate 80 westbound traffic approaching Pennsylvania, is scheduled to be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11.
During the closure, westbound motorists should keep right and use the bridge’s former cash collection toll lanes. All of those lanes are equipped to process E-ZPass and TOLL BY PLATE transactions.
Cash toll collection at the bridge ended in January 2025.
Motorists are urged to reduce their speed and use caution while traveling through the area.
If inclement weather prevents the work from taking place Tuesday, the maintenance is scheduled for the same hours Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The scheduled restriction is subject to change because of weather, emergencies or other factors.
