Firefighters extinguish house fire in Warren County

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Firefighters extinguished a house fire in Warren County on Monday morning

The fire was reported at around 7:00 a.m. at a residence in the 40 block of Cherry Tree Bend Road in Mansfield Township, according to a post on the Mansfield Township Fire Company’s Facebook page.

Mansfield Township Police Department arrived on location and confirmed a working fire and eventually multiple fire companies were called into to assist with fire suppression, ventilation, and overhaul, authorities said.

“Mutual aid from across two counties faced cold weather, a renovated house with multiple access issues and were finally able to bring the stubborn fire under control three hours later,” the post said.

The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately released.
