Firefighters extinguish shed fire in Mount Olive Township

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Firefighters stopped a raging shed fire on Saturday afternoon.

The fire broke out on Lakeview Avenue located in the Budd Lake section of Mount Olive Township.

Upon arrival, fire chief confirmed a fire in the shed and requested a city-wide dispatch for all Mount Olive fire and ems to respond, according to a post on the Budd Lake Fire Department’s Facebook page.

Crews from Budd Lake Fire and Flanders Fire worked to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.

Budd Lake First Aid Squad, Flanders EMS and Atlantic EMS also responded to the scene.
