Franklin Branch of Sussex County Library System to temporarily close for construction, April 14–27

FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – The Sussex County Library System (SCLS) announces the temporary closure of the Franklin Branch to replace the roof, starting Monday, April 14. The branch is scheduled to reopen on Monday, April 28.

Bookdrops located at the branch will remain available during construction and will be emptied daily. Borrowers with outstanding hold requests will be contacted to arrange an alternate pickup location or to suspend their holds until the branch reopens. SCLS apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciates the community’s understanding and patience during this period.

Community members are encouraged to utilize the services and resources available at one of the five nearby SCLS branches, including the Dorothy Henry Branch (66 Route 94, Vernon) and the Main Library (125 Morris Turnpike, Frankford). Library cardholders can also access the Sussex County Library System’s extensive digital collection, including eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more through the library’s website and digital platforms.
