Hunterdon County Chamber celebrates ribbon cutting for Nex Level Sports & Fitness
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce recently marked the opening of Nex Level Sports & Fitness with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility’s new location on Case Boulevard in Raritan Township.
The event celebrated the launch of the sports performance and fitness center at 426 Case Blvd., which is designed to serve athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all ages and ability levels.
Chamber officials joined the gym’s ownership team and members of the Raritan Township Committee for the ceremony, which included remarks from community leaders, tours of the facility and demonstrations of the gym’s equipment.
“At the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce, we champion businesses that not only drive economic growth, but also build stronger, healthier communities,” said Christopher J. Phelan, president and CEO of the chamber. “Nex Level Sports & Fitness embodies that spirit — offering a facility where people can challenge themselves, pursue their goals and thrive right here in Hunterdon County.”
The facility features a wide range of strength and conditioning equipment, including Olympic lifting platforms, power racks, free weight areas and specialized machines used in elite athletic training programs. The gym also offers modern cardio equipment, group fitness classes, personal training and open gym memberships.
According to Nex Level Sports & Fitness co-owner Hunter Murphy, the gym was designed to provide a high-performance training environment with equipment and resources typically found in professional-level training facilities.
“The new gym layout provides more room to move, train and focus, while the upgraded equipment delivers the kind of precision and performance typically reserved for top-tier athletic facilities,” Murphy said. “We invested in equipment that you won’t see in most commercial gyms — and definitely not all under one roof.”
The gym offers sports performance programs aimed at helping youth athletes develop strength, speed and agility while reducing the risk of injury. Programs are also available for adults seeking structured fitness training and overall wellness support.
Local officials and community members attended the event to welcome the new business, which chamber leaders said contributes to both the region’s economic development and its health and wellness resources.
The opening of Nex Level Sports & Fitness adds a new training destination for residents and athletes throughout Hunterdon County and the surrounding region.
