Hunterdon County Commissioner Soloway attends Marine Corps birthday celebration at VFW in Glen Gardner
GLEN GARDNER BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Hunterdon County Deputy Director Susan Soloway on Saturday presented the Hunterdon County Bulldogs Marine Corps League with a proclamation in honor of their 249th birthday celebration.
The event took place at the Spruce Run Memorial VFW Post 5119, where veterans and community members gathered to commemorate this significant milestone.
In her remarks, Commissioner Soloway highlighted the Bulldogs’ contributions to the community, stating, “The Hunterdon County Bulldogs exemplify the spirit of service and commitment that defines the Marine Corps. Their efforts in supporting veterans and fostering community spirit are truly commendable. It is an honor to present this proclamation on behalf of the Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners.”
The celebration included a formal ceremony, where members of the Bulldogs and attendees enjoyed a series of events, including a birthday cake cutting, a video speech from General John A.
