Hunterdon County Deputy Director Commissioner Soloway attends senior center prom event ‘Disco Divas and Dandies’
HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – Hunterdon County Deputy Director Susan Soloway on Friday attended the Hunterdon County Senior Center Prom event entitled, “Disco Divas and Dandies”, where members of the senior center were encouraged to dress up and “re-live memories from yesteryears” while dancing the afternoon away with music provided by DJ, Jerry Castaldo.
The event included raffles, games, refreshments and prizes to be won by attendees.
“The Hunterdon County Senior Center is always coming up with fun and engaging events for members to participate in! This prom event is a great way for resident seniors to spend the afternoon engaged, socializing and staying active. Our Board appreciates all that the staff and volunteers of the Senior Center do in promoting experiences and providing opportunities for senior members to connect within the community. Enjoy the day and groove out,” Soloway said.
Refreshments were kindly donated by the ShopRite of Flemington, and music by Jerry Castaldo was sponsored by Joni Lauyer, from Hunterdon Care Center and Rolling Hills Care Center. Sandi Leitner of Brookdale Senior Living, in Hillsborough donated various gifts that were raffled off.
