Hunterdon County launches MySeniorCenter automated check-in system

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – The Hunterdon County Senior Center Monday launched a new automated check-in system called MySeniorCenter, that all Senior Center members will use to sign-in for classes and events.

The innovative system is designed to streamline the check-in process for members, enhancing their experience and improving operational efficiency.

Commissioner Director Jeff Kuhl was in attendance for the launch and said, “MySeniorCenter represents a major step forward in how we serve our senior community. This system will not only make the check-in process more efficient but also provides valuable data to help staff better understand and meet the needs of our senior residents, especially as it relates to programming.”

The event featured a demonstration of the MySeniorCenter system, showcasing its user-friendly interface and the benefits it brings to both members and staff. New automated check-in computer systems are installed in two locations, one at the entrance foyer and another in the downstairs auditorium at the Senior Center, 4 Gauntt Place, Building #1 in Flemington.

The MySeniorCenter system uses a simple keytag or touchscreen interface, allowing members to quickly and easily check in for their activities. The card tag contains no personal information but allows the new system to recognize the user. The information captured by the system will help the senior center manage sign-ups and attendance more effectively, and help future funding and programming efforts, ensuring that resources are allocated where they are needed most.

The Hunterdon County Senior Center staff and volunteers will be on hand to assist members with the new system and ensure a smooth transition. The goal is to make the check-in process as seamless as possible, allowing members to focus on enjoying the wide range of programs and services offered by the center.

“The launch of MySeniorCenter is just another example of how Hunterdon County continues to innovate and modernize the delivery of important services to our residents,” Kuhl said.
