Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office hires new detective

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office (HCPO) has hired a new detective who was sworn into his position on Monday, June 12.

Detective Alexander Maillard was sworn in by Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson before family, HCPO First Assistant Prosecutor Joseph Paravecchia, Chief of Detectives Timothy Drew, and the staff of the HCPO.

Detective Maillard previously served as a police officer for New Jersey Transit Police in locations including Newark, Trenton, and Camden since 2017.

Detective Maillard completed his police training at the Mercer County Police Academy in September 2017 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rutgers University Business School in May 2015.

Detective Maillard is assigned to the Grand Jury Unit.
