Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office swears in new detective

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office has hired a new detective who was sworn-in to his position on Monday, April 3, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson announced Tuesday.

Detective Lloyd Martin was sworn-in by Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson before Chief of Detectives Tim Drew, First Assistant Prosecutor Joseph Paravecchia, and the staff of the HCPO. Detective Martin is assigned to the Criminal Investigation Unit.

Detective Martin previously served as a Detective with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office since July 2017. From August 2006 to July 2017, he was employed with the State of New Jersey, Department of Treasury.

Prior to his position with the State of New Jersey, Detective Martin served in the United States Army from May 2000 to September 2008.

Detective Martin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
