Hunterdon County Senior Center hosts annual Valentine’s Day lunch gathering

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – Hunterdon County Commissioner Jeff Kuhl, along with county staff members, hosted the Hunterdon County Senior Center’s Valentine’s Day Special: Music and Lunch event on Friday, February 28th. The event featured an afternoon of music, delicious food, and social festivities for senior members aged 65 and older to enjoy.

“I want to thank the Department of Human Services and Senior Center staff for once again hosting a special Valentine’s Day event for our senior community,” said Commissioner Kuhl. “Events like this are always a wonderful opportunity for our seniors to come together, enjoy each other’s company, and celebrate the spirit of Valentine’s Day. We are committed to providing engaging and enjoyable programs for our seniors, and this event is just one example of the many exciting activities offered at the Senior Center.”

Music for the celebration was provided by musician Russ Martone, who performed some of the greatest love songs of times gone by. Lunch was prepared by the talented chefs at Hunterdon County Polytech and included spring mix salad, penne alla vodka with chicken, and cookies and brownies for dessert.
