HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — A sea of green filled Main Street on Sunday as thousands of spectators gathered for the 17th annual Hackettstown St. Patrick’s Parade, one of the town’s largest and most popular community events.

The parade, organized by the Hackettstown Business Improvement District, stepped off at 3:30 p.m. and traveled along Main Street from Grand Avenue to Warren Street.

Crowds dressed in green lined the route to watch a festive lineup of Irish dance groups, marching bands, bagpipe and drum units, community organizations and emergency service agencies.

Participants also included Centenary University groups, Hackettstown High School teams and clubs, area fire departments and rescue squads, the Junior and Senior Colonial Musketeers, and the Hackettstown Community Band.

Shawn Burke served as the 2026 grand marshal, leading the parade through the downtown corridor as spectators cheered and waved along the route.
