Hunterdon Health earns Great Place to Work certification for fifth consecutive year

Hunterdon Health has been Certified™ by Great Place to Work® for the fifth year in a row, the organization announced, with 76% of employees reporting it is a great place to work.

The certification, which is based entirely on employee feedback, recognizes workplaces that foster exceptional culture, trust, and employee satisfaction. Hunterdon Health employs more than 2,600 people across Hunterdon, Somerset, Warren, Mercer, and Morris counties.

“Great Place to Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place to Work. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Hunterdon Health stands out as one of the top companies to work for.”

A breakdown of Hunterdon Health’s survey responses showed:

  • 88% of employees feel good about the ways they contribute to the community
  • 88% said they felt welcomed when they joined the organization
  • 86% expressed pride in their work
  • 86% felt that people within the organization genuinely care for one another

“This award is incredibly meaningful to us because our employees are what set us apart from other organizations,” said Violet Kocsis, senior vice president of corporate services and chief human resources officer at Hunterdon Health. “Our culture encourages collaboration and innovation, and we are proud to have earned this recognition five years in a row from the people who make Hunterdon Health so special.”

According to research by Great Place to Work, employees at certified organizations are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work and 4.5 times more likely to have a supportive manager. They are also twice as likely to report fair pay and opportunities for advancement.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music.
