Johnson Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram warns customers of phishing scam

MORRIS COUNTY, N.J.Johnson Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is warning customers not to respond to or click on links in a malicious text message and email that have been circulating and falsely appear to be associated with the dealership.

The dealership said it did not send the messages.

“STOP! DO NOT RESPOND OR CLICK ANY LINKS!” the dealership said in a notice to customers. “It has been brought to our attention a malicious text and email has been sent to some of our customers. For your safety, we urge not to reply or click any links inside this email. WE DID NOT SEND THIS EMAIL!”

Johnson Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram said its team is actively working to address the issue.

“Our team is currently working on this. We appreciate your understanding and loyalty,” the dealership said.
