Lane restriction set on southbound New Hope-Lambertville toll bridge May 27-29

LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Southbound traffic at the New Hope-Lambertville (Route 202) Toll Bridge will be reduced to a single lane from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, through Thursday, May 29, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced.

The temporary lane restriction is scheduled to allow maintenance crews to perform concrete roadway surface repairs on the toll bridge.

According to the commission, travel delays are not expected. However, motorists are advised to reduce speed and use caution while driving through the active work zone.

The lane closure schedule is weather dependent and subject to change due to emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
