Polaris Industries Recalls Ranger XD 1500 Recreational Off-Road Vehicles (ROVs) with Winches Due to Fire Hazard
Hazard: The winch wiring can overheat while in use, posing a fire hazard and risk of serious injury to the rider or passenger.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the winch in the recalled ROVs and contact an authorized Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair to confirm a proper winch ground connection at the dealer’s location. Polaris is contacting registered owners directly.
Units: About 10,500 ROVs and 1,336 winches (In addition, about 660 ROVs were sold in Canada)

Jo-Ann Stores Recalls Place & Time Battery-Operated Desk Lamps Due to Fire Hazard
Hazard: The desk lamp’s battery compartment can overheat while using the USB charging cord, posing a fire hazard.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled desk lamps and return them to Jo-Ann Stores for a full refund. Consumers without a purchase receipt will receive a $23 store credit. Consumers who are unable to return the lamp to a store can email a photo of the purchase receipt to customer.service@joann.com with the subject “Desk Lamp Recall Refund” to receive an electronic gift card for the amount on the purchase receipt, or a $23 store credit if the consumer does not have the receipt and provides a photo of the lamp.

CVB Recalls LUCID Platform Beds with Upholstered Square Tufted Headboards Due to Fall and Injury Hazards
Hazard: The recalled beds can sag, break, or collapse during use, posing fall and injury hazards to consumers.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled beds and contact Lucid for a free replacement bed frame. Consumers must write “recalled” on the support rails of the bed with a permanent marker and send a photo of the bed, as well as a photo of the support rails on the underside of the bed or a photo of the law label, to recall@lucidmattress.com to receive the free replacement product.

Hazard: The recalled Baby Tummy Time Gallery art card pockets have clear plastic coverings that contain levels of a phthalate that exceeds the federal phthalates ban. Phthalates are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Baby Tummy Time Gallery and contact Wee Gallery for information on how dispose of the product and to obtain a refund of $39.95. Wee Gallery and Amazon.com are contacting all known purchasers directly.

Caframo Cabinet Heaters Recalled Due to Electrocution Hazard; Manufactured by Caframo Limited
Hazard: The crimp holding a wire in place in the cabinet heater is not properly finished and can result in the wire detaching, posing an electrocution hazard.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cabinet heaters, unplug the unit, and contact Caframo Limited for instructions on how to receive a free repair or replacement unit. Caframo will provide a pre-paid shipping label for consumers to return the product to Caframo for repair. If the product cannot be repaired, Caframo will mail the consumer a replacement. Caframo is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Ceither Adult Portable Bed Rails Recalled Due to Serious Entrapment and Asphyxia Hazards; Violation of Federal Regulations for Adult Portable Bed Rails; Sold Exclusively on Amazon.com by Inforce
Hazard: The recalled bed rails violate federal regulations for adult portable bed rails, posing a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. When the bed rails are attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled adult portable bed rails. To receive a refund, consumers should send a photo of the disposed bed rail, along with a statement that they bought the product on or after August 21, 2023 or an Amazon purchase receipt, to the recalling firm by email at xchan524@outlook.com. The company will only provide refunds for bed rails purchased on or after August 21, 2023.

Hazard: The ATV can leak fuel at the fuel pump flange outlet, posing a fire hazard and risk of serious injury to the rider or passenger.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ATVs and contact an authorized Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair to replace the fuel pump at the dealer’s location. Polaris is contacting registered owners directly.

Children’s Jewelry Sets Recalled Due to Risk of Lead and Cadmium Poisoning; Violations of the Federal Lead Content Ban and Federal Hazardous Substances Act; Sold Exclusively on Amazon.com by Newmemo
Hazard: The rings contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban and levels of cadmium that are prohibited in children’s products by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. Lead and cadmium are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled rings, take them away from children and contact Newmemo for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to dispose of the recalled jewelry and send a photo of the disposed product to cly2167@163.com. Newmemo and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers directly.
