Here are the product recalls New Jerseyans should know about this week:

Legend Brands Recalls Bliss Hair Dryers Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Electrocution and Shock Hazards; Sold Exclusively at Burlington Stores

Hazard: The handheld hair dryers lack an immersion protection device and can cause death or serious injury due to electrocution or shock if the hair dryers fall into water when plugged in. The hair dryers are in violation of federal regulations for hair dryers and present a substantial product hazard.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using the recalled hair dryers and contact Legend Brands to receive a full refund. Consumers will be asked to destroy the hair dryers by cutting the cord and disposing of the product. Consumers must send a photo of the destroyed hair dryers to support@shoptrakk.com. Legend Brands is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Delta Gas Ball Valves Recalled Due to Fire and Burn Hazards; Manufactured by Masco Canada

Hazard: Small amounts of gas can leak from the valve when it is in the open position, posing fire and burn hazards.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Delta-branded Gas Ball Valves and contact Masco Canada to confirm that their product is part of the recall and receive instructions on how to get a refund. Masco Canada will also reimburse the cost of labor to remove the units and dispose of them. Masco is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Units: About 3,700 (In addition, about 18,500 were sold in Canada).

Igloo Expands Recall of 90 Qt. Rolling Coolers Due to Fingertip Amputation and Crushing Hazards; Total Recalled Now Nearly 1.2 Million

Hazard: The tow handle can pinch consumers’ fingertips against the cooler, posing fingertip amputation and crushing hazards.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled coolers and contact Igloo for a free replacement handle.

Units: About 130,000 additional coolers (In addition, about 20,000 in Canada and 5,900 in Mexico) (More than one million Igloo coolers were previously recalled in February 2025)

Xylolin Peg Doll Toy Sets Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Choking Hazard; Violation of Federal Regulations for Toys; Sold Exclusively on Amazon.com by Babywants

Hazard: The peg dolls’ spherical ends can block the child’s airway, posing a risk of choking and death to children.

Remedy: Consumers should take the product away from children immediately, dispose of the product and send a picture to Babywants for a full refund. Amazon is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Units: About 3,400

Sanven Technology Recalls Vevor Cable Railing Kits Due to Entrapment Hazard

Hazard: The bottom hole on the cable support posts is over four inches from the bottom of the base plate, posing an entrapment hazard to consumers.

Remedy: Consumers should stop using the cable railing kits immediately, prevent children from accessing the area where they are located, and contact Vevor for a full refund.

Vevor will provide pre-paid shipping labels so that consumers can return the recalled cable railing kits. Alternatively, consumers can provide photographic evidence of disposal or destruction of the cable support posts to recalling@vevor.com.

Units: About 800

DEMDACO Recalls Maril Brand Scented Candles Due to Laceration and Fire Hazards

Hazard: The candle’s glass container can crack or break while the candle is burning, posing a laceration and fire hazard.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candle and contact DEMDACO for a full refund in the form of original payment. Contact DEMDACO via email at customercare@demdaco.com for instructions on how to receive a refund and pre-paid shipping label to return the candle. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required. Consumers should not return the recalled candles to retail stores. DEMDACO is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Units: About 3,000

Yamaha Corporation of America Recalls Power Adaptors for Digital Pianos and Music Workstations Due to Burn and Fire Hazards

Hazard: The AC power adaptors can overheat and ignite, posing burn and fire hazards.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug the recalled PA-300C AC Power Adaptor and contact Yamaha Corporation of America for a free replacement adaptor. Visit www.yamaha.com/us/support/pa300crecall/ for instructions to participate in the recall. Consumers will need to submit their information through an online form or by email, and will need to submit evidence of product destruction with their claim. Consumers should not damage their recalled adaptor until they have read the recall instructions online.

Consumers who own a Yamaha-brand Clavinova® digital piano with a recalled adaptor should unplug the piano and contact Yamaha. Yamaha will provide piano technician services to perform an on-site inspection of the piano and provide a free replacement adaptor.
