Main Street & North Road intersection improvements to begin on or about Sept. 22 in Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — An intersection improvement project at North Road and Main Street in Mount Olive is scheduled to begin on or about Sept. 22, township officials announced. Work is expected to take about three weeks to complete.

Construction will take place Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. During this time, motorists may encounter temporary lane closures, detours, or delays.

Officials said the goal of the project is to improve overall safety at the intersection, reduce traffic conflicts, and provide long-term benefits for drivers and the community.

“We appreciate your understanding and support while this important improvement is underway,” the township said in a statement.
