Man accused of shoplifting more than $500 in Lego sets from Morris County Target
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A 20-year-old man from Independence Township has been charged after police said he repeatedly stole Lego sets from a Target store in Washington Township over recent months.
Township police said the man carried out four similar thefts, each time failing to scan multiple Lego sets at self-checkout. The total value of the thefts was $514.95, according to investigators.
The suspect, whose name was not released, was arrested and charged with third-degree theft/shoplifting. He was processed and released on a complaint-summons pending a mandatory appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
