Man charged in propane tank theft from Morris County business

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Short Hills man has been charged in connection with a burglary and theft at a Denville Township business, police said.

Jason W. Bostian, 39, was charged following an investigation into an incident reported April 19 at Reliable Lift Truck Services on Ford Road.

Police said officers responded to the business after receiving a report of a theft. Upon arrival, officers determined that an unknown suspect had forced entry into a locked container and removed six 33-gallon propane tanks before fleeing the scene.

Through the investigation, Bostian was identified as the suspect and later apprehended, authorities said.

He was charged with burglary and theft and released pending a future court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
