Man wanted for stealing $13K worth of items from Hackettstown Lowe’s arrested

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A New York man who was wanted for allegedly stealing more than $13,000 of items from the Hackettstown Lowe’s was arrested Wednesday, according to police.

On August 2,  Hackettstown police were notified by the Morris County Correctional Facility that Dashun Jackson, 23, of Brooklyn, NY was in their custody and he had a National Crime Information Center (NCIC) warrant out of Hackettstown, police said.

The warrant was issued on February 13 for a shoplifting incident that occurred on February 10 at the Lowe’s Home Improvement store, 217 Mountain Ave, where Jackson is accused of stealing $13,837.30 worth of electrical circuit breakers, outlets, and other electrical accessories, police said.

Hackettstown police arrested Jackson at the Morris County Correctional Facility and was then transported to the Warren County Correctional Facility where he was lodged pending a court appearance, police said.
