UPDATE: Missouri, Texas tickets split $1.787B Powerball jackpot; New Jersey player wins $1M, 5 win $100K, 11 win $50K

TRENTON, N.J. – Two tickets sold in Missouri and Texas matched all five white balls and the Powerball late Saturday to split a nearly $1.787 billion jackpot, the second largest in U.S. lottery history.

The winning numbers were 11, 23, 44, 61 and 62, with a Powerball of 17 and a multiplier of 02. The jackpot totaled $1.787 billion, second only to the $2.04 billion Powerball won in California on Nov. 7, 2022.

New Jersey players representing 13 counties also claimed big wins. A Camden County player won $1 million, while five players from across the state won $100,000 and eleven players won $50,000.

“Congratulations to the players in Texas and Missouri,” New Jersey Lottery Director James Carey said. “This has been an incredible run. All the while, I’ve been hearing from people in our state who are overjoyed at winning $1 million, $100,000 and $50,000 prizes.”

Since the previous jackpot on May 31, there had been a record 42 drawings, during which 67 New Jersey players won at least $50,000. Among those, five claimed $1 million prizes, one won $300,000, one won $150,000, and 11 won $100,000.
