Morris County Prosecutor’s Office holds anti-bias/bullying presentations at schools around North Jersey
NEW JERSEY – Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Supervising Assistant Prosecutor Samantha DeNegri and Sergeant Patrick LaGuerre brought their educational Anti-Bias/Bullying program to schools across northern New Jersey.
The program was presented at Central Middle School in Parsippany and Madison Junior School on January 23, Mount Saint Dominic Academy in Caldwell on January 30, and Long Valley Middle School on January 31, 2025.
The Anti-Bias/Bullying program is designed to educate students about the consequences of poor judgment in their interactions with peers and their online behavior, emphasizing how a student’s actions today can potentially affect their future.
Additionally, the program stresses that Morris County takes a zero-tolerance approach to threats of school violence. It makes clear that there are consequences and corrective actions for such behavior, even when students claim their comments were intended as a joke.
The assemblies also provide an opportunity for law enforcement to connect directly with students. The program has been conducted at both public and private schools throughout Morris County and beyond, with over a dozen presentations held in Morris, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties over the past year.
