Morris County Sheriff’s K-9 team earns Top Dog honors at USPCA certification trials

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Morris County) — A Morris County Sheriff’s Office canine team took top honors at the United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) PD1 Certification Trials held June 13 in Gloucester.

Detective Corporal Marc Adamsky and his partner, K-9 Tim, earned the Top Dog award for best overall score in the competition, which tests dog teams in obedience, evidence recovery, human scent discrimination and criminal apprehension. This marks the fourth time in the past four years that the Morris County Sheriff’s Office has brought home the Top Dog trophy.

Detective Brian McCormack and his canine partner also participated in the trials, representing the department.

Officials praised both teams for their strong performance.
