Morris County Sheriff’s Office investigates drone activity; public encouraged to submit photos
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – Morris County Sheriff James M. Gannon has announced that recent drone activity observed across local communities is currently under investigation.
Although there is no immediate danger to the public, the sheriff’s office is actively collaborating with multiple law enforcement agencies to address the situation.
Sheriff Gannon is asking residents, particularly those with photographic expertise, to assist in the investigation. If anyone has captured high-resolution images of the questionable drone flights, they are encouraged to submit them to the Morris County Sheriff’s Office via email at MCSODMU@co.morris.nj.us.
“We often receive information from our neighbors that may be helpful because of their own individual talents,” Gannon said.
For any additional questions or information, residents can contact the Morris County Sheriff’s Office at 973-285-6600 or via email through their website.
