New Hope-Lambertville Toll Bridge to have lane closures June 16-18 for inspections

LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The New Hope-Lambertville (Route 202) Toll Bridge is scheduled for single-lane travel restrictions in both directions from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, through Wednesday, June 18, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced.

At least one lane in each direction will remain open during the closures.

The lane restrictions will allow the Commission’s general engineering consultant to conduct bridge and facility inspections in accordance with Federal Highway Administration requirements and National Bridge Inspection Standards.

Travel delays are not expected, but motorists are urged to slow down and use caution near the restricted areas where the inspections will take place.

The schedule may change due to weather, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
