NJ Hair Institute opens surgeon-led hair transplant clinic in Morris County

PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, N.J. (Morris County) — A new surgeon-led hair restoration clinic has opened in Parsippany, offering a range of medical and non-surgical options for people experiencing hair loss.

The NJ Hair Institute has opened a boutique clinic at 10 Lanidex Plaza West, Suite 213. The practice was founded by Dr. Kenneth L. DiStefano, a board-certified physician and hair transplant surgeon, and is focused on providing individualized treatment plans and natural-looking results, according to the institute.

“Hair loss affects far more than appearance; it can undermine a person’s sense of self,” DiStefano said. “I entered hair restoration to improve lives. At NJ Hair Institute we focus on delivering natural results that restore confidence.”

The clinic offers follicular unit extraction, a minimally invasive procedure that transplants hair follicles individually to reduce visible scarring. It also provides follicular unit transplantation, commonly known as strip harvesting, which allows for a larger number of follicles to be transplanted when broader coverage is needed.

Additional services include platelet-rich plasma therapy, which uses a patient’s own blood plasma to stimulate hair growth and support transplant outcomes, and scalp micropigmentation, a non-surgical option designed to create the appearance of fuller hair or camouflage scars.

Each treatment plan is developed by DiStefano based on an individual patient’s hair loss pattern, stage and goals, the institute said.

The NJ Hair Institute is accepting patients from New Jersey and surrounding areas and offers complimentary consultations. More information is available at njhairinstitute.com or by calling 973-592-4247. The clinic is located at 10 Lanidex Plaza West, Suite 213, Parsippany, NJ 07054.
