“We’re grateful for this opportunity to partner with NJ Transit who will provide our soldiers and family members with good employment opportunities in this region,” said Alecia R. Grady, Director, Private Public Partnership Office, USAR.

More than 87% of Army Reserve soldiers combine military service with civilian careers, according to the Private Public Partnership office. This partnership allows NJ Transit to assist those soldiers and their families to overcome barriers to obtain meaningful employment opportunities. This in turn helps enhance their financial stability and enables them to create community connections.
