No injuries after pickup truck hauling cars on trailer overturns in Sussex County

WANTAGE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – No injuries were reported after pickup truck hauling cars on a trailer overturned in Sussex County on Monday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash happened at around 3:45 p.m. on Route 23 northbound at milepost 48 in Wantage Township, Lebron said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Ford F-450 pickup truck hauling a trailer with three vehicles lost directional control causing the trailer to overturn, Lebron said.

Debris from the crash struck another passenger vehicle, Lebron said.

No injuries were reported, Lebron said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
