No injuries when tractor-trailer jackknifes on I-78 in Hunterdon County

UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – There were no injuries after a tractor-trailer jackknifed on Interstate 78 in Hunterdon County on Tuesday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Trooper Troy McNair.

The crash happened at around 2:11 p.m. on Interstate 78 westbound at milepost 11.4 in Union Township, McNair said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Kenworth tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on I-78 when the driver lost directional control and subsequently jackknifed, McNair said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, McNair said.
