Phillipsburg police seek public’s help identifying vehicle in school bus hit-and-run

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Phillipsburg police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle and its driver involved in a hit-and-run crash on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the crash occurred about 2:30 p.m. Dec. 17 in the 1000 block of South Main Street and that the driver fled the scene.

Investigators are looking for the owner or operator of a silver Dodge Grand Caravan with New Jersey license plates. Police said the vehicle may have damage along the driver’s side, including scuff marks, yellow paint transfer or other visible damage.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the vehicle to contact the Phillipsburg Police Department at 908-835-2002. Authorities also asked the owner or driver of the vehicle to come forward and contact police.
