Pickup truck catches fire on I-80 in Warren County

ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A pickup truck caught fire Sunday morning on Interstate 80 West in Allamuchy Township.

According to the Allamuchy Fire Department, the fire was reported around 11:30 a.m. near Exit 19.

Fire crews arrived on scene and brought the fire under control within minutes.

Units remained on scene ensuring all hotspots inside the vehicle were cooled and provided lane blocking for the tow company while the pickup truck was removed from the roadway.

Crews were clear of the scene at approximately 12:30 p.m.
