Wawa recalls milk and lemonade products in four states including NJ over possible contamination
Wawa Beverage Company has voluntarily recalled several of its bottled milk and lemonade products due to potential foreign object contamination, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The Class II recall, initiated on Sept. 23, 2025, and classified on Oct. 14, 2025, affects products distributed to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland, the company said.
The recalled items include:
- Wawa Strawberry Lemonade, 16 oz (pint), UPC 007626191018982, with a code date of November 7, 2025 — approximately 2,750 units affected.
- Wawa Strawberry Milk, Lowfat Milk, 16 oz (pint), UPC 00726191015134, with a code date of October 6, 2025 — about 30 units affected.
- Wawa HVD (Whole) Milk, 16 oz (pint), UPC 00726191014403, with a code date of October 9, 2025 — approximately 154 units affected.
All products were sold in plastic pint bottles and stored under refrigeration.
A Class II recall is issued when a product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences, but the probability of serious health effects is remote.
