Randolph Township Chabad center building renamed to honor Hadar Family Foundation

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Morris County Commissioner Deborah Smith joined local, county and state officials on Sunday for a ribbon-cutting and building dedication ceremony in Randolph Township honoring the Hadar Family Foundation.

During the ceremony, the Chabad Center for Jewish Life was officially renamed “The Hadar Family Hall at the Chabad Center for Jewish Life.” Smith was joined by Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, state Sen. Anthony Bucco, Assemblywoman Aura Dunn and members of the Randolph Township Council.

Smith addressed attendees and thanked Amir and Naama Hadar for their longstanding support of the Chabad Center, as well as Rabbi Avraham Bekhor and Chava Bekhor for the invitation and their continued contributions to the Randolph Township and Morris County communities.

The dedication builds on the opening of the Chabad Center’s new 3,000-square-foot community complex on Hanover Avenue in 2023. The facility provides space for worship, education and large community gatherings.

Founded in 1987, Chabad of Randolph has served the township’s growing Jewish community for decades, offering programming and social services for residents of all ages while strengthening community connections and supporting families throughout Morris County.
