Road resurfacing on section of Waterloo Valley Road in Mount Olive to begin June 1

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Motorists traveling on Waterloo Valley Road in Mount Olive should expect traffic delays next week as milling and paving work is scheduled along a portion of the roadway.

Township officials announced that, as part of a New Jersey Department of Transportation Trust Fund Grant project, crews will mill and pave Waterloo Valley Road from the International Drive intersection to 300 Waterloo Valley Road.

Construction is expected to take place from June 1 through June 5, weather permitting.

Traffic will remain open in one direction during construction, with alternating traffic patterns in place to allow vehicles to pass through the work zone.

Work is scheduled daily between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Officials are advising motorists to allow for additional travel time and exercise caution when traveling through the area.
