
UPDATE: Route 10 westbound daytime lane closures next week for paving work in Morris County
One lane to be maintained during construction
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The right lane on Route 10 westbound is scheduled to be closed during the day next week for paving as part of a New Jersey Natural Gas Company project in Randolph Township and Roxbury Township.
This work was initially scheduled for this week but has been rescheduled due to weather.
From 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, December 16, through Thursday, December 19, the right lane on Route 10 westbound will be closed to repave two miles of the roadway. The work will begin after Dover-Chester Road in Randolph Township and extend through Eyland Avenue in Roxbury Township, following the installation of a gas main.
The left lane on Route 10 westbound will remain open during construction, and Route 10 eastbound will not be affected.
Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and expect delays when driving through the work zone.
