Section of Flanders-Netcong Road to close July 16–17 for erosion control work

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Motorists should prepare for a full closure of a section of Flanders-Netcong Road due to ongoing erosion control work by Morris County, according to Mount Olive Township Administrator Andrew Tatarenko.

On Wednesday, July 16, and Thursday, July 17, Flanders-Netcong Road will be closed in both directions from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The closure applies specifically to the stretch of roadway between Route 206 and Flanders-Drakestown Road.

For commuters, the northbound lane of Flanders-Netcong Road is expected to reopen at approximately 4 p.m. at the conclusion of work each day.

Motorists are advised to plan accordingly and travel safely.
